Fire & Emergency
- 🔥 Fire Related — active fire, spot fires, flare-ups, hazard fuel
- ⚑ Incident Command — command post, staging, divisions, branches
- 🚒 Fire Assets — engines, tenders, brush trucks, dozers
Search & Rescue
- 🔎 SAR — LKP, clues, sightings, footprints, clothing finds
- 🐕 K9 — K9 alerts, scent pools, track lost/regained
Recovery & Thermal
- ♨ Heat Signature — thermal hits from drone or handheld
- ✓ Confirmed Find — verified recovery location
- ⚠ Blood / Trail — blood, hair, drag marks
Tactical
- ⛨ Tactical — perimeter, entry points, cover, overwatch
- 👤 Personnel — team positions, sniper/observer
General
- 📍 Waypoint — generic markers for anything not covered above

Why the toggles matter
Every enabled type shows up in the pin picker. If you're running a fire and you have all 13 categories enabled, your picker has 30+ options to scroll through. Enable 3-4 categories and the picker is a clean grid you can tap without looking.
How to Enable/Disable
Open the operation. Tap the ⚙ Settings icon in the top bar. Go to Pin Types. Toggle on only the categories you need for this specific operation.
You can change this mid-operation — if conditions shift (fire turns into a SAR when a firefighter goes missing), flip on the new pin types right then.
Pro Tip
Operation Type sets good defaults — you rarely need to adjust
